VETS-4212 Reporting Deadline Extended

The reporting cycle for the 2017 VETS-4212 report began on August 1.  While covered federal contractors initially had until September 30 to file the VETS-4212 report, the filing deadline was recently extended to November 15, 2017.  While the DOL’s website explained that the deadline was extended to accommodate those organizations that were impacted by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, the extension applies across the board to all covered contractors that must file a VETS-4212 report in 2017.
 
Contractors that must comply with VETS-4212 reporting requirements include those employers with federal contracts valued at $150,000 or more.  Covered contractors must report on affirmative action efforts in employing veterans by job category and hiring location.  The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) encourages VETS-4212 reports to be filed electronically on the VETS-4212 website.  Alternatively, reports may also be submitted by email (VETS4212-customersupport@dol.gov) or regular mail at:
