Cathy Keaulani, Manager, Surveys & Compensation Services leads compensation consulting services and survey resource offerings at Hawaii Employers Council. She has the responsibility to partner with member organizations to develop and execute effective compensation strategies, policies, and practices. Additionally, she's responsible for the ongoing development and enhancement of pay, benefits and practice surveys.
She has more than 20 years of experience in Human Resources with a special focus in the area of Compensation. Her knowledge and experience spans the For Profit and Nonprofit arenas within the Hotel, Healthcare and Luxury Retail Industries, cover Local, National and Global environments. Prior to joining HEC, Cathy served as Senior HRIS and Compensation Manager with DFS Group, the world’s leading luxury travel retailer, where she was responsible for global compensation policies and programs.
Cathy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Leadership from Kennedy Western University and is a national and Hawaii chapter member of SHRM and a member of WorldatWork. Cathy holds the prestigious CCP (Certified Compensation Professional), GRP (Global Remuneration Professional), SPHR, and SHRM-SCP certifications and currently serves as Secretary of the Hawaii Compensation Group (HICOMP).
